Rabobank: Periodic consultations May 2022

On May 17, 2022 De Unie held periodic consultations with Rabobank.

The following topics were on the agenda for this meeting:

After the collective labor agreement negotiations, we resumed periodic consultations. The consultation was mainly an inventory. We divided the tasks. A number of problems arose during the collective labor agreement negotiations that De Unie plan for the coming year.

Collective Labor Agreement 2022-2023

A text committee is formed. We want to publish the new collective labor agreement shortly after the summer.

The Pension compensation scheme still needs to be worked out in more detail. Rabobank has submitted a proposal. De Unie is studying this proposal. Follow-up of collective labor agreements: the Grow, Flex and New way of working working groups are restarting. We are still discussing when the Pension working group will get back to work. No new agreements have been added to the collective labor agreement that require a working group.

Salary gap scheme

In the previous collective labor agreement, the labor market supplement was abolished on the instructions of the supervisor. Employees in job groups with whom a labor market supplement had been agreed are instead entitled to a salary extension scheme. This agreement was reached in consultation between the trade unions, Rabobank and COR. De Unie has proposed to jointly evaluate the elaboration of this agreement.

Extension of PAWW benefit

Rabobank is affiliated with the PAWW Foundation. This foundation ensures that the unemployment benefit or WGA benefit is extended after the statutory benefit has expired. This is an important appointment for employees who become redundant. It gives people peace of mind that they know that their income will be secure for some time to come, even if it is unexpectedly impossible to find another job during the unemployment period. The affiliation with the PAWW scheme has once again been agreed between the parties to the collective labor agreement. The agreement is valid until October 2027.

Inventory PO topics

The previous periodic consultation was held in November 2021. Through De Unie a list was made of topics that were discussed in 2021 between Rabobank and the trade unions. We want to pick up these topics again soon. Important topics such as working hours, use of the training budget and the standard text of the VSO will be on the agenda again in the next periodic consultation.
