Rabobank: Short update process

After the research phase, we have been negotiating with the bank since March 9, 2020 to come to a new collective labor agreement, social plan and pension scheme from January 1, 2021. Shortly afterwards, the corona situation arose and we made the switch to digital negotiation. Not ideal, but next best.
Cut up subjects
It is important to have clear in the summer what kind of pension scheme and social plan will apply in 2021. This gives the pension fund the necessary time to be able to enter possible adjustments for pension in their systems. For the social plan, in the event of reorganisations after December 31, there must be clarity for employees and the company about how to deal with the social consequences. With the focus on pension and social plan, we will now tackle the collective labor agreement in September.
We negotiated on Wednesday 20 May about pension and the social plan. We notice that we need extra time to be able to properly cover both subjects and to be ready on time. We have therefore planned extra time and we will go on Wednesday the 27e May onwards. Furthermore, June 8, June 15, June 30, July 1 and July 7 are in the agenda as negotiation days.
