Rabobank: Commitment De Unie Rabobank negotiations

After the completion of the research phase with theme groups, employee surveys, webcast and discussions with employees at various Rabobank locations, we are now in the negotiation phase.

Negotiations for a new collective labor agreement, social plan and pension scheme for employees and Rabobank will start on Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 March 2020. The deployment of De Unie these negotiations have been established with the help of the responses from de Uniemembers, Union executives, the employee surveys, theme groups and the Perspective Memorandum 2020 of De Unie. De Unie has identified six themes with points that we want to achieve and the goal that we want to achieve with them. The themes are as follows:

  • Terms of employment, labor relations and cooperation
  • Employability
  • Work / life balance, direction and workload
  • Social plan and employment
  • Retirement and financial planning
  • Advocacy and trade unions

The commitment letters of the parties will be published on Raboweb on Wednesday 4 March or Thursday 5 March 2020. Then it becomes clear what the parties are committed to and what the similarities and differences are. On Monday, March 9, the negotiators explain their commitment to each other and we make the planning for the substantive discussion of the topics. On Tuesday, March 10, we will include the first topics to be discussed. Then get it de Uniemembers of course provided the first feedback on the course of these first two negotiating days. Monday, March 30, the next negotiation day is on the program and we are visiting Rabobank Lek and Merwede in Gorinchem.
