Negotiation result Collective Labor Agreement for Housing Services 2021

Yesterday, February 23, 2021, we achieved a negotiation result for the Collective Labor Agreement for Housing Services 2021! You can do the document here .

De Unie this year has highlighted the three most important topics within the Housing Services for her. The employer side has partly met us on all three points. We think it is minimal on two of these points and for now just a pass and on the third point, we are satisfied with the reward. This means that we present the result “moderately positive” to you.

The two points we had actually hoped for more are:

  1. We would have liked Liberation Day 5 May to be included in the collective labor agreement as a paid holiday every year. It is the most important holiday in the Netherlands! The employer side apparently thinks otherwise ……. In any case, they agreed to the paid time off in lustrum years and the employers' side was also so sporty that they also released paid time off for 5 May this year, which we really appreciate.
  2. De Unie would like to see place and time unbounded (of which working from home is part of the CLA as a right (of course in consultation with your supervisor). We also believe that the expenses you incur by working from home are In our view, the employer is acting unreasonably on this point and, in our view, has not given any arguments in favor of coming up with this minimum scheme. collective labor agreement, a “right” can be found.

We are happy with the reward. We had asked a little higher, but can understand the employer's wish to moderate a little on this point.
