On 21 September 2021, the trade unions suspended the collective labor agreement consultation at NN. Unfortunately, we had to conclude that there is no prospect of reaching a negotiated result through consultation that is acceptable to trade unions and members.

Member meetings
From a democratic point of view, we would like to discuss this decision with Members. De Unie after all, works for the members and the position of the members determines each step.
The first members' meeting on the suspension has now been completed. We explained NN's attitude in the consultation. The members expressed their disappointment with NN's attitude. In addition, the members present contributed ideas about the next steps to be taken. We will of course work out the tips we have received from them. For example, the meeting asked for concrete information about the negotiation results with other insurers. But also about inflation and its consequences. I, representative Inge de Vries, will collect this information. Soon the members of De Unie a memo about this.
First I would like to focus on the discussion with the members about suspending the collective labor agreement.
