NN Group: Periodic consultation
to April 28, 2020
Next periodic consultation
On Wednesday April 29, 2020 De Unie periodic consultations with NN-Group again. One of the topics we are talking about is an adjustment of the social plan. De Unie has asked the NN Group to accommodate the colleagues who are now redundant because the labor market is now closed. Has at several other employers De Unie can already make agreements about this. For example, we have made agreements with other employers about the extension of the reassignment period by one or two months at the employer's expense. Also has De Unie Agreements made with some employers about postponing reorganisations.
The employer has looked for expansion options within the social plan. This involves:
- Extension of coaching period at the expense of the employee.
- Encouraging internal redeployment.
It is of course great that the employer offers this space. But for the colleagues who are now redundant and who are in a very insecure situation, this may not feel like a helping hand.
De Unie particularly wants to discuss what is actually being achieved with the policy to stimulate internal redeployment.
Are you redundant or do you have colleagues who are in this situation? What do you think is reasonable? Should NN-Group be more responsive to redundant colleagues? Give your opinion by sending an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org or call me on 06-5252 2091.
What does this mean for the social plan?
NN-Group has made it clear in the discussions that we have held that it is only prepared to make adjustments within the limits of the social plan. If the trade unions want more, the social plan must be broken open. De Unie does not agree with this. There is no reason for that either. Our question is what NN-Group benefits the colleagues who have now, in a very uncertain time, have become redundant. And is this realistic compared to what other employers do.
Other topics on the agenda
- The integration of the Vivat employees who come to NN-Group.
- Corona measures.
- Security protocol for return to office.
- Start collective bargaining.
Are there other topics that are important? Send the representative, Inge de Vries, an e-mail email@example.com.
