NN Group / Delta Lloyd - Annual Review 2019

At the end of the year, we would like to look back at the major themes of 2019 at NN. I also want to put some topics on the agenda for 2020.

Do you have topics that deserve attention in 2020? Let me, advocate Inge de Vries, know by e-mail!

Voted in January de Uniemajority members against the new collective labor agreement and the social plan. The topics of job plotting, retirement and the termination of VIC were not well received. This is what we wrote then.

At the end of May, we finally concluded an agreement for a new collective labor agreement and social plan. Partly due to the input of de Uniemembers we have been able to agree on the necessary improvements. Of course we did not get all of our wishes. Here again that member letter.

In June, NN took over parts of Vivat. After the recent takeover of Delta Lloyd, another major takeover in the insurance world. What this will mean for the employees is not immediately clear, as we also reported in our reporting.

The autumn is all about pensions. In November, we unfortunately received the announcement that the pension fund must shorten pension accrual before 2020. We then wrote it next. At the same time, we close one agreement for the harmonization of PFI pension agreements.

In November we organized another Month of the Vakbond. Colleagues could join for a year De Unie. We are pleased that many have taken advantage of that offer. We will certainly draw attention to this again in 2020.

The Balanced Labor Market Act came into force on 1 January 2020. From De Unie you can expect that we have identified the consequences for employees. Read more here.

In 2020 we will organize various activities for our members that will revolve around sustainable employability. How do you stay relevant in your current job? What do you need for the next step in your career? De Unie organizes workshops on this topic in 2020. The workshop is free for our members. You are cordially invited. You will receive more information in January.
