Metalektro: Steps have been taken, but we are not there yet
November 6 2020
On 3 and 4 November we have for the 4e talked with employers about a new Metalektro collective labor agreement. We can now report that we have made progress, but a new collective labor agreement is still not in sight.
Where do we stand?
Employers adhere to a collective labor agreement with a term of 25 months (until January 1, 2023) with 2 salary increases (0,75% as of 1-1-2021 and 1,25% as of 1-7-22). In addition to wages, there are various other points of discussion.
An overview of the main points of discussion:
We have been able to make agreements about the pension premium.
reaction De Unie
It is a pity that after 4 rounds (and 5 days) of negotiations we still cannot present you with a result. There are still quite a few points of discussion to be discussed. Given the corona measures, it is also difficult to be able to talk longer. We will therefore have to schedule an extra day of negotiation to make a last attempt to be able to present you with a result.
The next meeting will be on 18 and probably 19 November. Hopefully the last meeting will be before the collective labor agreement expires on 1 December. So there is still a lot to be done. We will of course keep you informed about the outcome of that consultation!
If you would like to give us any comments for the upcoming negotiation round, please contact us by email firstname.lastname@example.org.
