De Unie together with FNV and CNV, several New Year's meetings throughout the country this week for the hard workers in the Metal and Technology sectors. Unfortunately, we have not yet received an invitation from employers for a New Year's collective labor agreement.

Employers wish you little good for 2022!

Because despite undoubtedly beautiful New Year's wishes expressed by your employer, the employers wish you and your colleagues little good in terms of employment conditions. At the beginning of 2022 you are still without a collective labor agreement. There is no generation pact without a collective labor agreement. Without a collective labor agreement, no wage increase to compensate for the increased costs; let alone that you get some extra to spend. What do they wish you and your colleagues? A tip such as a wage increase and the breakdown of sparing measures (such as generation pact and age days). It is therefore unfortunately necessary to reinforce our good intentions for a new appropriate collective labor agreement by organizing New Year's meetings in the form of 24-hour strikes.

What do we stand for again?

We have formulated 15 requirements that employers must comply with.

  1. A collective labor agreement with a term from October 1, 2021 to September 30, 2022;
  2. Wage tables and actual salaries increase by a pay increase of 3,7% (inflation September 2021 plus 1%) as of October 1, 2021;
  3. In the context of sustainable participation, arrange the following matters in the collective labor agreement:
    1. Employees are entitled to a career check and an personal financial advice. Financing from SVUM or the training funds.
    2. Making agreements about an individual employee-oriented “sustainable participation pact”. This is a further development of the current “generation pact”.
    3. Right to a personal development budget from 1.500 euros per year with the option of saving. In addition to this budget, the employee also receives time from employer to prepare the budget;
  4. A RVU appointmentk for all employees in line with the latest pension agreement;
  5. A sectoral leave savings fund create so that employees can save 100 weeks of leave;
  6. De Unie wants to draw explicit attention in the collective labor agreement to informal care, whereby we want the sector to informal care sector is becoming;
  7. Parents and parents of the life partner add to article 61 under a. of the collective labor agreement;
  8. Members / employees get a half-day leave to be able to inform and vote on the process of formulating employment conditions;
  9. The contributions for the different (R&D) funds in the sector to continue and increase to fund the above requirements;
  10. Facilities to hybrid work to be introduced in the sector. To this end, employers must home working arrangement set up with a compensation of EUR 2 net per working day at home, a reimbursement of 50% of the employee's internet costs and to finance an occupational health and safety design of the home workplace;
  11. Payment supplement additional birth leave up to 100% of the individual (actual) wage;
  12. May 5 an annual day off with retention of salary;
  13. As the parental leave falls on a public holiday, that day does not count as parental leave. In that week, the employee will take an alternative day as parental leave;
  14. Every employee can register for 1 day (technology promotion day) per year per year, with retention of salary, for the promotion of work in the technical sectors;
  15. Practitioners are entitled to a minimum 1 day of training per year.

De Unie has opted for a wage requirement that is linked to the inflation of the moment. This means that our wage requirement has now risen to 6,7% (inflation in December 2021 5,7% plus a 1% increase in purchasing power). In short, good intentions from De Unie no defect. But without your participation in the promotions, these good intentions will not be realized. After all, employers have not been convinced by the strength of our arguments for a good collective labor agreement. We assume that they will be convinced by your willingness to take action. So help the actions and help yourself.

Where are the New Year's Meetings?

We are organizing four New Year's meetings this week. We hold these meetings in the form of the regional 24-hour strikes that you are familiar with. To register for these 24-hour strikes in your region, we again organize a so-called strike street. A drive-thru where you can fill in your strike registration form and then head home.

Op Thursday January 13 2022 two New Year's meetings are being organised. For the Eindhoven region it is already the third 24-hour strike. Location is it parking lot Wim van Doorne Music kiosk to the Alberdingk Thijmlaan 1 te Eindhoven. Registration starts at 09.00 Hours and walks until 11.00 a.m. at the latest.

The other meeting on Thursday January 13 2022 takes place in the Rotterdam/Drechtsteden region. The location is stadium square Olympia side of Stadium De Kuip (Olympiaweg 54 next to P8). Registration starts at 09.00 Hours and runs to 10.00 Hours.

Vrijdag January 14, 2022 is there a 24-hour strike in the Region North Holland. You can get in between 09.00 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. register via the staking street on P8 of the AFAS Stadium in Alkmaar (near Parelweg 11).

At the same time, there is Friday 14 January 2022 a 24-hour strike takes place in the Region Drenthe. You can find yourself in two places register between 09.00 am and 10.30 am. The locations are in Emmen en Assen. In Emmen can you register on the car park behind the Fletcher Hotel Emmen on the corner Emmalaan/Kerkhoflaan next to it Argos gas station (Emmalaan 8).

Vrijdag January 14, 2022 we would like to welcome you in Assen on the parking lot opposite the Bonte Wever next to football association ACV De Bonte Wever at the Stadsbroek 17.
