At the end of December 2021, I, representative Hans Korver, informed you about the state of play of the negotiations of the ICK collective labor agreement. We have not negotiated further since then. We first wanted to know how our members view the employers' offer. On January 13, 2022, we held a members meeting, jointly with FNV and CNV.

Conclusion of the members meeting
The employees who attended the members meeting were clear. The approximately 60 participants all thought the employer's offer was bad.
We then discussed how we can let employers know that we expect a better proposal. We also discussed how we could involve more employees from the sector. Employers are generally unimpressed with 60 dissatisfied employees.
Invitation follow-up meeting
We agreed that we would organize a follow-up meeting for the employees covered by the collective labor agreement ICK. In this meeting we will see whether we can agree on a fun way to make it clear to employers that the offer really needs to improve.
The follow-up meeting is scheduled for Thursday 3 February 2022 from 19:30 – 21:00. It is an online meeting via MS-Teams. I look forward to seeing you at this meeting! Invite your colleague as well.
