What does this mean for you?
The temporary arrangement would expire on June 30, 2022. This has been extended, so that your social security will remain as it is until 2023. This was announced by Minister Van Gennip of Social Affairs and Employment. In this way, the cabinet wants to guarantee that cross-border workers can also work hybridly. The details of the extension are currently being worked out. In addition, the government is looking for a structural solution to this issue.
