On June 4, 2020, the employees of the management received an invitation for a webinar. One of the topics that will be discussed in the webinar is the financial consequences of the corona crisis for the CBR. The invitation states that the proposals are the result of a dialogue with the vakbondand and the works council (OR). This is incorrect!
Actual state of affairs
On April 23, 2020, the vakbondand and CBR send a joint message to all CBR employees via the intranet. In this report you can read that we were discussing how the CBR wants to get out of the corona crisis as healthy as possible in a financial sense. At that time no result had yet been achieved and consultations were suspended.
We have now spoken to the CBR twice again. During these discussions, we discussed the proposals that the works council, at the request of the management, made to the CBR to emerge from the crisis as financially as possible. These proposals, which the works council considers to be the maximum achievable, are based on previous proposals by the management. The consultation between vakbondand and CBR, however, despite input from the works council, once again failed to produce any results. Vakbondand have always indicated during the consultation that they do not agree with the proposals of the works council at the moment. The CBR has therefore opted to suspend the consultation for the time being in order to question employees about the proposals of the works council. The employees have received an invitation for this from the employer. No agreements have been made about how things will proceed afterwards.
We advise employees to express their opinion about the CBR's proposals during the webinar and the survey. The results of this will undoubtedly match the vakbondand shared.
