Arcadis: Collective Labor Agreement 2019
March 1 2019
Deliver the project before April 1, 2019
The new CLA must be delivered before April 1, 2019. Full of good intentions, round I took place on January 31, 2019 (approximately 150 minutes). Negotiations took place again on 27 February 2019. Round II - 180 minutes. So we are not negotiating for two months but 5½ hours in total. It was already clear that the 2018 negotiation result puts a mortgage on these negotiations.
3,9% wage increase in 2019!
The proposals of the employer are Arcadis Nederland here to read. Again, the necessary confusion can arise due to the use of the term pay margin: The space from which all improvements in terms of employment must be paid and that is not only the structural wage increases (individual and / or collective).
- 2,3% of the wage margin is therefore used up individual pay increases as of 1 January 2019,
it seems that there are still only
- minimum 1,4% (maximum 1,9%) is left over for one structural salary increase for everyone.
If the 2,3% had been used for a structural collective wage increase, all employees could therefore have received at least 2019% in 3,7 (maximum 4,2%). Just say it: Individual or Collective? The RAU will reflect the success of all of Arcadis Netherlands.
Round III + IV
Two more negotiating rounds of 19½ hours each are scheduled for March 29 and 2019, 2. This means that the negotiations will have to be completed in approximately 10½ hours, spread over three months, before April 1, 2019. However… the issues are hot (For example: Pension Preparatory Working Hours Reduction).
De Uniemembers have received an invitation to respond to the employer's proposals.
