Update Friday April 8, 2022: De Unie and the other trade unions have achieved a result on the new Collective Labor Agreement Metal & Technology!
There is still no collective labor agreement in the Metal and Technology sector. Negotiations have been stalled for a long time. It is time for another collective bargaining agreement. But for that, employers in, among other things, metalworking and installation technology will have to come over. Until then, there is no collective labor agreement. No collective labor agreement means quite a lot! What is the discussion about and what does it want De Unie? Will 2022 be the year for a good metal and technology collective labor agreement?
The six most important topics we want to achieve
- A good pay rise!
De Unie wants a wage increase that incorporates the price increases and an additional 1% increase in purchasing power. - RVU / Generation Pact
We want the option for all employees to stop working 3 years before the state pension age. We also want to continue and improve the existing agreements on the Generation Pact. In addition, we want an industry-wide leave savings fund so that everyone can save 100 weeks of leave. - Birth leave / parental leave
De Unie would like to see the additional birth leave supplemented to 100% of the salary. We also want to make arrangements about parental leave on public holidays. It must then be possible to take the leave on another day. - Development and Training
Every employee should be entitled to time and money to work on their own development. - Working from home
We want to make agreements to make working from home possible. - Sector attractiveness
We all have an interest in keeping the sector attractive for new colleagues. We believe that every employee can devote at least 1 day a year to promoting working in technology. This of course with retention of salary. We also want you to have the opportunity to read up on the collective labor agreement and vote on it. A half day off for this seems very normal to us.
These are the main points that De Unie, together with the other trade unions, for a new collective labor agreement. Now it is important that we work with you to convince the employers of this. After all, it is your collective labor agreement that we are committed to!
