Aegon: Periodic consultations December 2021

December 13 2021

On Thursday, December 10, 2021, there were periodic consultations at Aegon. In these consultations, trade unions, HR and the Central Works Council discuss current affairs at Aegon and we work on the implementation of collective labor agreements. Below you can read more about the collective labor agreement process, the 3e years of unemployment and a nice offer.

CLA process

We spent the consultation on the process of arriving at a new collective labor agreement and social plan as of 1 July 2022. We will again conduct a joint collective labor agreement survey among the staff, hold several digital employee meetings, set up collective labor agreements and work with an external facilitator. /process supervisor work.

We held a brainstorming session about the collective labor agreement topics. By the way, thank you for your input on my question which themes are important to you? Many topics came up in our brainstorming round, but after clustering there seem to be four themes globally, namely:

  • Rewarding and Valuing (wage, TPOW/Smart Working, connection)
  • Time and Well-being (leave, happiness at work, resilience)
  • Social plan (self-directed, from job to job, severance pay)
  • Social context (Work Code/Flex, CSR)

We are also thinking of providing an explanation of how such a negotiation process actually works and who has what role in it at what time. We still need to develop this further, but it's a start. The planning for the negotiations and the employee sessions is underway and the negotiations will take place in the period from mid-April to mid-June 2022. As soon as there is more information about the negotiations, you will get it back from me.

3e year WW / PAWW

We have already completed one topic and that is the extension of the 3e year WW / PAWW. This will expire in 2022 for Aegon and the parties to the collective labor agreement have decided to extend it by five years. The premium for employees has been reduced to 2022% in 0,2. More information about the scheme can be found at www.spaww.nl.

Are you already future fit?

You don't know what 2022 will bring you, but it's always a good idea to think about yourself, your job and your career. Is it time for a job change and is that time now? A job change may also be possible within Aegon, but what do you need for that? It naturally starts with the question of what would you like? What makes your heart beat faster? What do you want or need to be good at in five years?

These are all questions to discuss with one of our career coaches. The Career Check is a great opportunity to discover where you stand in your career at Aegon. The Career Check gives you insight into your motivations, talents, ambitions and obstacles. We offer you an intake interview and personal coaching, a reflection matrix and 5 test reports and a format for a personal action plan. We like to make you think. Interested in learning more about yourself? Sign up on www.dilemmamanager.nl/aegon for creating the digital Career Indicator. After completing the test, choose Union Services.

Our customer satisfaction rating is an average of 9. Quotes: “I have encountered myself, but now I know in which direction to move”. “As my coach Marco said: Don't expect to see a vacancy at the end of the process, as it were. But you find out who you are, where you want to go, and what you have to do to get there.” “I found the tests confronting at times, but really helpful. I was guided well and with warmth”.

During the intake we ask why people have chosen us: The answer is invariably: “because I have heard good stories from a colleague” or that in combination with “your trajectory is the most extensive.”.
