De Unie at Unilever

Do you work at Unilever? Then you will become a member anyway De Unie?

Unilever has almost completely shaken off its “production springs” in the Netherlands. Of the 2400 employees still active in the Netherlands, just under 2300 are now employed in functions other than production. In addition to the factory in Hellendoorn, which employs a total of 140 people, the rest of the work will take place in Rotterdam (on the Weena and Nassaukade) and, as far as R&D is concerned, from Vlaardingen (from mid-2019 from Wageningen). This transformation requires new insights when it comes to employment conditions and labor relations. De Unie makes itself strong for the employees of Unilever with tangible results. This has become apparent in the creation of above-average Social Plans in the reorganisations of ETS / GCAD in 2016 and in R&D in 2017 and via an Addendum in 2018.

Based on arguments and vision makes De Unie strong for you. However, the recent past has taught us that sometimes it is necessary to use the power of the number. In other words: The more members, the more we can do for you. Therefore: anyone who works at Unilever in the Netherlands MUST be a member of De Unie turn into! And we don't just say that. Read the message that we recently received from a colleague of yours here. Someone who, like too many colleagues, has not been a member of for years De Unie. His words need no addition.
