De Unie at General Banks

The General Banking Collective Labor Agreement (ABC) applies to “smaller” banks in the Netherlands, whose employer is a member of this collective labor agreement. This sector collective labor agreement is concluded between De Unie and the Dutch Banking Association (NVB). Due to the great diversity of interests on the employer side, the consultation at the ABC is usually not done quickly. Keeps with the consultation De Unie always keep a close eye on existing, additional or modified agreements (often for years) at various financials in the sector. The ABC is always a solid basis (“minimum”) collective labor agreement for employees in the industry, but historically positive deviations have occurred in various places.
