CLA negotiations

Just a summary of where we are now and when we will continue with the negotiations for a new collective labor agreement. On April 16, 2024, the employers' delegation and trade union officials, led by an external chairman, started exploring the collective labor agreement process. The themes that will be discussed in the collective labor agreement negotiations were then identified. From de Uniemembers have raised issues around the themes of employment conditions & labor relations, employability, work/life balance & workload, sustainability and the work of trade unions. Employers have raised issues such as work pressure and the attachment of pensions in the collective labor agreement.

The concrete commitment for the new collective labor agreement was then collected from the supporters. The commitment letter from De Unie was discussed during the first round of negotiations on May 14, 2024. The second round of negotiations took place on May 27, 2024 and the employer proposals were also announced. The course of the third round of negotiations on June 12, 2024 can be found here Health insurers: 3rd round of collective labor agreement negotiations – De Unie. The negotiation process is at a standstill in July and August due to the summer holidays. The next date for the negotiations is Tuesday, September 3, 2024. The last scheduled round is scheduled for Thursday, September 19, 2024.

Pension information

The transition document approved by the members is with the SBZ pension fund for further development and implementation. In the meantime, the participants can also be included in the transition. For example, SBZ organizes numerous webinars to inform employees of the upcoming changes. On Thursday, September 19, SBZ is organizing a webinar in which they will discuss the new pension system. The following points are discussed:

  •  What do we expect from you? (Edwin Schokker)
  •  Communication for your employees (Koen Vaassen)
