New wage offer employers

Employers have thought and came up with a new wage offer. They maintained a structural wage increase of 3,2% for the 1st year and 2,6% for the 2nd year. The one-off payment for scales 1 to 10 was increased to 500 gross in 2022. In addition, employers wanted to give an amount of 50 euros gross for every tenth percent that inflation over the year 2023 is higher than the forecast inflation. This with a maximum of 750 euros gross, to be paid out once at the beginning of 2024. Employers attach great importance to a two-year collective labor agreement.

Counter proposal De Unie

Trade unions have made a counter offer for a two-year collective labor agreement with two 4,75% structural wage increases, 1000 euros gross one-off and the aforementioned inflation instrument for the year 2022 instead of 2023. This offer is based on the many reactions that have been received. received after the previous round. This showed that there was zero support for the offer from employers, there was a clear preference for a one-year collective labor agreement and 5% is by far the most frequently mentioned percentage.

Response employers

In their response, employers indicated that the trade unions' offer was outside their mandate, but that they still wanted to make a counter offer. They offer 3,75% for the first year and 2,75% for the second year. The one-off payment is set at 600 gross for scales 1 to 10 and they positively include the inflation instrument for 2022 for internal deliberations.
