DigiC
As agreed in the last collective labor agreement, we will also use the DigiC working method in preparation for the negotiations on the social plan. When the most recent Collective Labor Agreement for VodafoneZiggo was drawn up, we already used this method for the first time, whereby all employees, union members or not, are allowed to participate in the discussion and vote on the negotiating result to be achieved. De Unie believes it is important that all employees are given the opportunity to provide input so that we, as a trade union, can represent the interests of all employees as effectively as possible in the negotiations with VodafoneZiggo. We also think it is important that all employees are allowed to vote on the outcome of the negotiations. It is important that as many employees as possible participate, because only then will we be strong in the negotiations with VodafoneZiggo in order to achieve a good result for the employees. DigiC gives every employee the opportunity to do this.
Participate?
In the coming weeks, we will first start discussions with VodafoneZiggo, after which we will quickly provide clarity about the way in which employees can participate in the discussion via DigiC. The works council has been invited to join the negotiations as an observer. We naturally welcome this and look forward to a constructive dialogue. We naturally hope that the other fellow unions will still respect the DigiC working method and join the negotiations.
