UWV: Preparation consultation 17 March 2022

March 15 2022

Agenda Open Consultation

De Unie has regular Open Consultation with UWV. In these consultations we discuss the state of affairs at UWV, we work out study agreements and prepare the next collective labor agreement negotiations. De Unie can put items on the agenda. We do this when members indicate that there are certain questions. On March 17, 2022 De Unie Open Consultation again.

We then talk about various topics:

  • Labor market allowance Insurance doctors
  • Variable pay 2de echelon
  • Pilot Hengelo/Zwolle

Elaboration of study agreements:

  • Working from home
  • Travel costs for commuting, especially combined transport
  • Workload
  • savings leave
  • Research modernization social plan
  • Sustainable employability

I would like to elaborate on two agenda items.
Variable pay 2e echelon management
UWV has a variable remuneration scheme for the 2de echelon management. UWV wants to abolish this scheme. The scheme is not included in the collective labor agreement, but forms part of the individual employment contract. This agreement cannot be unilaterally changed by the employer.

Are you entitled to this variable remuneration? Please contact me. De Unie provides legal assistance to members if your employer wishes to discuss changes to your employment conditions.

Pilot Hengelo/Zwolle
We learned from the newspaper that in the Hengelo/Zwolle pilot, UWV clients were awarded a benefit without an inspection. The shortage of insurance doctors has been a problem at the UWV for some time. But this pilot (if it's done, we'll only have a newspaper article) is a disturbing development. The trade unions have asked the UWV to provide an explanation. To date, the explanation has not been forthcoming. We are keeping this topic on the agenda because we really want to investigate the possible consequences of this pilot.

Continuation

After the consultation on March 17, 2022, you will receive a report from the representative Inge de Vries.
