February 21 2023

We would like to express our gratitude for the frequent completion of our survey. De Unie has received almost 1200 responses. That gives us a good representation of your vision. In addition, we held an employee meeting last Wednesday on February 15, 2023 to update you on what you can now expect from the process. We'd love to talk to you about this.

Survey results

We collect the input together with all trade unions, but we share the outcome of the survey with you De Unie.

No less than 80% of the people who completed the survey indicated that they were willing to take action. In addition, we have received 200 additional registrations for our action committee. These names have been passed on to those responsible for our central action committee so that you are added to the correct groups. If you have registered, but have not yet received a message? Send an email to: mandy.raijmakers@unie.nl you will still be added to the correct group.

It has been indicated which actions you thought were a good idea, listed below from most popular action to least popular action:

  • 53% Only work from home
  • 52% Strike
  • 41% Turn on the absence detector when we do work
  • 38% We don't work overtime
  • 32% Everyone goes to work in the office
  • 28% Demonstration at Sloterdijk
  • 21% Placing posters
  • 16% Only communicating via email for a week

In addition, we have received a lot of other creative ideas to take action. These are shared with the central action committee and we will use them to make an action plan.

Summary employee meeting

Not everyone could log in or attend the employee meeting. There is a lot of demand for an overview of what has been discussed. We laid out the process in the meeting and explained what you can expect. We have listed the main points of the employee meeting for you here .

Member meetings

We are working together with all unions in this process. It also remains important to know what the vision of our own members is, because we as De Unie to make that sound. We also need to formally get back to our members to get them to vote or to take action. A so-called three-quarter meeting. At least 25% of our members must be present. We also discussed this during the staff meeting. We have scheduled digital member meetings for this. It is very important to be present and make your voice heard. To offer you this opportunity, we have planned three meeting times. These meetings are only for our members with a Full or Extra membership, because they have voting rights. They have received an invitation to participate in the online meeting.
