Technical Wholesale: collective labor agreement update

October 10, 2025

The collective bargaining agreement negotiations between the parties were scheduled to resume on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. In our previous message, we indicated that discussions regarding the term of the new collective bargaining agreement and the associated wage increases are proving difficult.

To prevent the collective bargaining agreement negotiations from reaching an impasse, the formal consultation has been converted into an informal one. In an informal consultation, parties can exchange ideas and identify negotiating space without being directly bound by it.

At the end of the informal consultation, we agreed that all parties would consider a solution in which the structural wage increase in the new collective labor agreement consists of a nominal portion (a fixed amount) and a percentage portion.

The deployment of De Unie is based on the participation model (all employees in the Technical Wholesale sector participate in discussions and decision-making). And we want to agree on a pay increase that will maintain purchasing power! You can see our commitment here read it again.

The next meeting will take place on November 11, 2025, and we assume that we can reach an agreement then.

After the meeting on November 11, we will of course provide an update as soon as possible.

Let your colleagues join in too De Unie – you can now do this from just €0!
