Last week we invited members with a Full or Extra membership to a joint members meeting of the four unions on Wednesday 12 March 2025 at 11:00. In the members meeting we will explain our commitment to a new collective labour agreement.

Practical information members meeting
The idea was that all four unions would explain a part of our efforts. Unfortunately, advocate Hans Korver cannot be present. The other three unions will therefore explain our efforts. De Unie will be represented tomorrow by its executives.
The explanation of our joint commitment is expected to take about half an hour. After that, each union will retreat to its own space. Members with a Complete or Extra membership can then ask additional questions to our executives. They can then – physically – cast their vote there on the commitment for the new collective labor agreement
The voting procedure is different from what you are used to De Unie. De Unie and her fellow unions, however, consider it crucial that the negotiating delegation of Tata Steel receives our input first on Wednesday afternoon. We believe that this is the best way to arrive at the best possible new collective labour agreement, which fits the situation in which Tata Steel finds itself. Therefore, as an exception, a joint input and a different voting procedure.
