Signify: result of member consultation for new collective labor agreement

In this message we inform you that the majority of the members of De Unie has agreed to the negotiation result for a new collective labor agreement at Signify. This now also applies to the other trade unions. This means that a final agreement has now been reached between the employer and trade unions on the new collective labor agreement. This collective labor agreement has a term of 12 months, from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2023.

I would like to thank everyone who cast their vote and also took the trouble to provide us with comments on the content of the result. We also received many tips for the next collective bargaining.

Point of attention

The reactions of the members show that the subject of “working from home” and the facilities for this remain a point of attention. Our members are not at all satisfied with Signify's attitude towards the possibility of working from home on a structural basis. We will certainly include this subject in our new proposals.

Your contribution and new members remain necessary

We also need your contribution for the next collective bargaining negotiations. We will soon send you our draft proposal letter for a new collective labor agreement with the request to respond to it. Of course you can already make your wishes known to us for a new collective labor agreement. Your colleagues who are not yet members of De Unie can do the same and when they become a member, they can also vote on the content of the new collective labor agreement. We are looking for a new negotiating delegation member to act on behalf of De Unie would like to participate in the collective labor agreement negotiations at Signify. In this way you are directly involved in the creation of a new collective labor agreement. We arrange that you can get time off from your employer for this.
