As you know, we, Signify and trade organizations, started a mediation process in January.

The aim of this process was to work on mutual trust, understanding each other's interests and room for maneuver. Communication and the manner in which negotiations are proceeding were also discussed. This trust and understanding each other's “language” are necessary to achieve constructive collective labor agreement negotiations. De Unie indicated at the start that after the mediation we will decide whether we can resume collective labor agreement negotiations.

The discussions in the past period have taken place in a constructive and valuable manner and have created understanding on both sides of each other's positions and also offered new insights. Both the trade unions and Signify have expressly stated that they want to make optimal efforts for a new collective labor agreement at Signify.

The mediation ensured that the mutual relationship was restored and the mediation ended.

After the publication of the quarterly figures for the first quarter of 2024, the parties have decided to discuss with each other in May to determine what that information means for a possible collective labor agreement result.

We will keep you informed of developments.
