October 20, 2022

On October 18, 2022, we discussed a new collective labor agreement at Signify with the employer for the first time.

During this meeting, the parties further explained their own proposals for a new collective labor agreement. To be sure, we do here our proposals to you one more time. You can also submit the employer's proposals here .

The first meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere. Our first impression based on the employer's proposals is that there is a considerable distance between what the employer is willing to do and our wishes. We hope to get closer during the upcoming negotiations.

The second round will take place on November 7, 2022. It is during this round that we really start negotiating with the employer.

According to De Unie the following items have priority:

  • Wage increase to compensate for inflation!
  • Extension of the current CSP (Central Social Plan) without deterioration.
  • Working from home scheme with associated employment conditions.

If you want to be kept informed about further developments, keep following our newsletters in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions about this, you can contact the representative Suat Koetloe via suat.koetloe@unie.nl or call 06-5252 2061.
