Incomprehension for wage offer Philips!

We are pleased to learn that most of the members of De Unie followed our negative advice. The response from our members shows that they are particularly unable to understand the employer's offer of wages, which is completely out of proportion to the current level of inflation.

Incomprehension for the bonus Frans van Houten!

In addition, there is a huge lack of understanding for the bonus of the previous CEO, Frans van Houten of Philips. Despite the poor financial results of Philips and the announced reorganisations, as a result of which thousands of colleagues have to lose their jobs, Frans van Houten will not waive his bonus.

Employees don't feel valued!

The members indicate that they hardly notice the poor economic situation at Philips on the shop floor, because they have to work hard and have to give more than 100% to their work. There is enormous overtime at Philips wide. There are several colleagues who are more often looking for a job outside Philips. Employees no longer feel valued by Philips!

Paying for management mistakes!

You and your hard-working colleagues have to pay for the mistakes of the top of Philips. If you are not forced to leave, you will have to settle for a meager pay raise. This way you don't feel valued by Philips.

You are happy that the central social plan has been extended unchanged, but it is difficult for those who stay to continue to believe in their perspective at Philips. Philips does very little for you according to our members.

Willingness to take action is great!

Our members are now more prepared than before to take action if it is necessary to convince the employer that they are entitled to a better wage offer.

Final bid must be dropped!

We will communicate the outcome of our member consultation to Philips and we will also urge Philips to remove the final offer from the table, so that we can renegotiate a new collective labor agreement at Philips. There should be a new collective agreement soon!

How further?

We will let you know as soon as possible what Philips' response is and what we will do from then on. Keep reading our posts and share them with your colleagues who are not yet Union members! Join them too! This can easily be done via our website. With more members we have more influence on a negotiation result.
