Unfortunately, we have had to inform members again about an announced reorganization at Philips.

On February 26, 2025, we learned that jobs will be lost again as a result of changes within the ISC Circular Lifetime Solutions and Factory Best departments. According to current information, 39 employees will be affected, of which 5 at Centraal and 34 at Factory Best. Philips cites a decline in volume and cost savings in these departments as the reason for this reorganization. We regret that yet another organizational change will be at the expense of employment, knowledge and experience within Philips Netherlands.
Usefulness and necessity?
The works councils of the departments concerned will consider the necessity of this decision and issue advice on this matter.
What does De Unie for our members?
We immediately requested a meeting with Roy Jacobs, CEO of Philips, to express our concerns about the increasing loss of jobs in the Netherlands. On behalf of all employees, we want clarity about the future prospects within Philips. How long will these reorganizations continue, each time at the expense of the jobs of hard-working employees?

In these uncertain times, it is important to know that you are not alone. De Unie is committed to the interests of all affected employees and will continue discussions with Philips about the consequences of this reorganization.
