Philips: members meeting

After four collective labor agreement meetings, little progress has been made. It was not until the fourth session, just before the summer vacation, that Philips made an opening offer for the collective labor agreement. Unfortunately, this offer is considerably lower than what we had hoped or expected.

What does Philips offer?

Philips only proposes a wage increase of 1,6% per year (2% for 15 months), while we demand at least compensation for the loss of purchasing power you have suffered of 6,9%. This is in addition to our proposals to further improve your purchasing power. This difference is considerable and cannot simply be bridged.

But it's not just about the pay. Philips also remains silent on other important topics such as:

  • Work pressure and work-life balance: The work-life balance needs to improve.
  • 80/90/100 regulation: Flexible working hours are necessary for a better balance.
  • Support for young employees with student debt: More help and understanding for the challenges of young employees.

Central Social Plan (CSP)

We want an improved Central Social Plan that also supports temporary employees and agency workers. In addition, we believe that the salary should not decrease when you accept a new position within Philips. These are essential points that Philips must take seriously in the negotiations.

Now is the time to come together and let everyone's voice be heard. We invite all employees to participate in the joint union meetings. During these meetings we will discuss the latest state of affairs and we would like to hear ideas on how to accelerate the negotiations. It is time for Philips to come up with a fair and appropriate offer!

Together we can ensure that Philips comes up with a new, fair offer. Everyone's involvement is of great importance! Come to the meetings and let us update you on the latest developments. Together we are stronger!
