After our member meetings about the outcome of the first round of substantive collective labor agreement negotiations, we negotiated again with your employer last week. After very intensive negotiations, Philips has decided to make a final offer. read here the final offer.
The reason for its low offer is that the employer indicates that there is no longer any financial room to make a better offer for a new collective labor agreement. This is due to the disappointing operating results of Philips.
Final offer
There is now a final offer for a collective labor agreement of 20 months in which wages would only be increased by a meager 1% on 8-2023-7, i.e. over 4 months. The next wage increase will be 1 year later, but with 3%. And a one-off payment of € 900 gross in May 2023.
Disappointing!
We are very disappointed that the employer does not want to negotiate further in this way and closes the door to achieving a better result of your employment conditions.
Negative advice
Unfortunately, we can only present this final offer with a negative advice to members with a Complete or Extra membership. Because a wage offer less than 6% on an annual basis is not acceptable to us, as we have indicated in our previous newsletters and also during the members' meetings.
