After there was little progress in the formal consultation and the parties remained too far apart, we put the necessary effort into the informal consultation. That turned out to be constructive enough for all parties except for one of the employee organizations.

The trade unions went further and had a constructive informal consultation with NXP Semiconductors.
We expect that we can reach a collective labor agreement. These three employee organizations believe that the employee's interests are now served by consultation at the negotiating table.
The three unions mentioned made a (new) formal offer to NXP:
- 6% as of May 1, 2024 and
- 3% as of January 1, 2025 with
- a term of the collective labor agreement of 26 months (until January 1, 2026).
NXP Semiconductors responded with a formal counteroffer:
- Collective wage increase of 4% as of May 1, 2024 and
- 2,5% as of March 1, 2025 with a term of 26 months
- Extra statutory holiday day (has a value of approximately 0,5% when sold).
Based on what is now formally on the table, the parties see a good basis for further formal discussions on the other collective labor agreement topics and reaching an agreement.
