The following topics were discussed during the periodic consultation of January 28:
- Developing collective labor agreement text
- Work pressure NN Bank
- Insourcing NNVS
Furthermore, in this update the advocate would like to present the offer specifically for NN members. De Unie with a Complete or Extra membership, just to be highlighted. There's also a development to report regarding the pension plan at Delta Lloyd Pension Fund (DLPF).
Update periodic consultation
Work pressure NN Bank
During the collective labor agreement negotiations, workload was discussed. The following was agreed upon in the negotiation result: any signs of workload will be discussed in the periodic consultations and subsequently addressed by NN. In December 2025, I indicated that the workload at (parts of) NN Bank was far too high. NN investigated this signal and acknowledged that in December 2025, due to a combination of circumstances, the workload was very high. Seasonal peaks occur annually, for which NN Bank has a protocol. In addition to seasonal peaks, there was also additional work in 2025. The workload is now expected to be within reasonable limits.
Developing collective labor agreement text
The collective bargaining agreement parties have appointed a drafting committee. The committee aims to finalize the text of the collective bargaining agreement, the social plan, and the sourcing framework this spring.
Insourcing NNVS
NN has decided to resume performing the work currently outsourced to NNVS. The employees currently working for NNVS will become NN employees. De Unie is negotiating the transition protocol with NN and NNVS on behalf of these employees. The date the transition will take effect is not yet certain. The request for advice, which provides insight into the integration of the new colleagues, is also not yet complete.
Next periodic consultation
The next periodic consultation is scheduled for March 12, 2026. The advocate will of course share an update afterward.
Reminder: free coaching session
You may have already seen it in an earlier message, but the advocate would like to bring it to your attention again: NN members who are members of De Unie (Complete or Extra membership) can have a free consultation with a coach to prepare for the goal-setting meeting (the start of the NN People Cycle). It takes little time, but can be very rewarding: a clear articulation of your wishes and interests, insight into your strengths, and a translation of the NN objectives into your personal ambitions. Very useful indeed!
Pension developments
The DLPF board has contacted the social partners. The board is currently exploring the future of the pension fund, with a focus on the possibilities for a collective transfer of assets to an insurer (buyout). More details can be found on the pension fund's website. On behalf of De Unie We asked additional questions about the buyout. The social partners will discuss the pension fund's findings on February 9, 2026. If necessary, we will schedule a members' meeting for members who have accrued pensions with DLPF.
