Op April 18, 2025 to have De Unie and the employers in the e-commerce food sector have reached a final collective labor agreement. After the employees' approval, the renewed collective labor agreement is a fact. The new collective labor agreement will take effect on July 1, 2025 and will have a term of 3 years.

Most important agreements
- Pay raise: A total pay increase of 10%.
- Wage building: A renewed and improved salary structure, with additional growth opportunities for employees in the lowest scales.
- Development budget: Increase of the personal development budget, giving employees more room for their professional development.
- Youth wages: Gradual phasing out of the lower youth wage scales.
Great involvement and clear support
De Unie has based its efforts for the negotiations on employee input. This input was collected through panel discussions and a survey conducted by an independent research agency. After reaching the negotiation result, employees had the final say: over 3.000 employees participated in the referendum, of which a large majority (78%) agreed with the agreements.
The high turnout and the clear outcome of the consultation confirm that this new collective labour agreement enjoys broad support among employees.

With this third collective labour agreement in the sector, employees and employers are once again taking a step towards better working conditions and more prospects for e-commerce employees.
