Highlights

The full list of proposals can be found here to download. You can read the highlights below.

Wage and term
De Unie is committed to a collective labor agreement for 12 months in view of the uncertainty surrounding the purchasing power of colleagues. We want a structural wage increase for those 12 months that corrects inflation, plus 1% extra wages with a minimum of EUR 100.

Senior Staff Collective Labor Agreement
De Unie wants to abolish the discriminatory HP collective labor agreement. We find a collective labor agreement that distinguishes whether or not you make a wage increase based on your current salary is no longer up to date. We therefore propose that the colleagues who are currently covered by the HP collective labor agreement should be included in the basic collective labor agreement. Protocol agreements have been made about this before and we believe that these should now be implemented.

Continued payment in case of illness
Getting sick is not a choice. For that reason, De Unie it is indigestible that colleagues have to deal with worry about their finances as a result of illness. We have been arguing for years for the abolition of the maximum daily wage limit for sick pay. De Unie would like to see this regularly.

Abolish income barriers to participation in schemes
De Unie proposes that before we abolish the income thresholds for participating in the RVU and Generation Pact. In addition, we also want a 45-year rule to be included in the collective labor agreement that gives the right to participate in the RVU.

Making additional work more attractive and abolishing overtime
De Unie would like to make it more attractive to work full-time. At the same time, De Unie that the obligation to work overtime lapses. Overtime contributes nothing to being permanently and sustainably at work. We also want preventive medical examinations to be available to all colleagues. Prevention is better than cure.

Negotiations

On September 8, 2022, we will start negotiations on the Collective Labor Agreement for Metalektro, which should start on December 1, 2022. After that, we still have negotiating days on September 21, October 4 and October 12. From now on we will keep you regularly informed of the progress regarding the collective labor agreement. love our union.nl/metaal, Facebook en LinkedIn closely monitor.

We have recently invested heavily in mutual relationships by meeting each other frequently and jointly drawing up a strategic agenda for the coming years. We therefore hope that during the negotiations it will mainly be about the content and not about the mutual relationships. What De Unie As far as the negotiations are concerned, the main focus of the negotiations should be how we can meet the challenges for the sector, for colleagues and for companies by making appropriate agreements in the collective labor agreement.

Members have been invited to vote. You can vote until September 1, 12.00 noon.
