Wage and term
The collective labor agreement has a term of 19 months and runs from June 1, 2024 to December 31, 2025. During this period you will receive the following wage increases:
- 2,75% as of June 1, 2024
- 3,25% as of January 1, 2025
- 3% as of June 1, 2025
With this increase we are almost at our wage demand of 9,4% for a collective labor agreement that also runs throughout 2025. The wage agreement ensures purchasing power maintenance and an expected purchasing power improvement of almost 3%, calculated over the period 2021 to 2025.
De Unie would have liked to see all employees benefit from the wage agreements made, but unfortunately employees above the salary limit (2024: 117.700 euros) will not benefit from the wage agreements made. The salary limit will be indexed to EUR 128.613 with the wage increases. De Unie has pushed hard for a wage increase for everyone. We think it is a missed opportunity.
Phasing out temporary measure pension premium (pension slider)
In the current collective labor agreement, a one-off payment of EUR 60 gross per month has been agreed (Article 3,4,2 sub a). This temporary measure will be phased out in the coming year; Until August 2024 you will keep the 60 euros gross per month and from September 1, 2024 you will receive 50 euros gross per month until December 31, 2024. In 2025, this temporary measure will no longer apply.
Strategic agenda
The social partners reaffirm the agreements made strategic agenda (2022-2027). In the remainder of the report Metalektro: The key to socio-economic success, the social partners will draw up an agenda with the aim of drawing attention to the sector in all its aspects. Improving the image of the sector is part of the agenda. The parties' aim is to present the agenda in September. For the parties, the labor market and development is one of the most important topics on the strategic agenda that must be tackled in the coming collective labor agreement period.
Informal care
As a result of the informal care pilot, the value of making tailor-made agreements in combination with work and private life has become visible. The social partners will therefore start a campaign to follow up the pilot.
Financially fit & 5x Better
The agreements on financial fitness and training vouchers will also be continued unchanged during the term of the new collective labor agreement. The 5x Better project will be extended until December 31, 2028. Collective labor agreement for senior staff
The investigation into the possible merger of the two collective labor agreements will be continued in the new term of the collective labor agreement, so that the collective labor agreements will actually be merged in 2026.
