In 2022, the unions and Marel agreed on a RAU arrangement. This arrangement expired on December 31, 2024. This meant that further consultations were required to create a new arrangement.

Due to the acquisition of Marel by JBT, this took longer than originally intended. Several discussions have taken place with the Central Works Council (COR) on this topic, and over the past two months, the RAU has been discussed with the unions.
The members of De Unie have received the RAU scheme and the associated percentages in their mailbox.
The ESG will be determined by the COR and will be communicated later. Given the short timeframe for this year, we assume these will be achievable goals.
As JBT Marel's figures stand now, and assuming the ESG is achieved, between 2 and 3 percent will be paid.
The regulation also stipulates that timely agreements must be made for 2026 and possibly for several years. This arrangement will continue until otherwise agreed.
We are asking members to share their opinions and vote on JBT Marel's proposal. Members have received an invitation to vote. Voting is possible until October 7, 2025.
