We were recently approached by Marel about the company's intention to change the temporary employment arrangements. Marel wants to harmonize the regulations across companies and therefore also the temporary employment regulations.

The basic principle behind this change is that employees who now fall under the temporary employment scheme will be given the choice to continue to fall under the old temporary employment scheme. New employees are not given this choice. It is important to know that once a choice has been made for the temporary employment arrangement, this choice is final.
Have changed:
- The guaranteed overtime allowance (5.4 5.5 old scheme).
- An additional allowance for weekend hours, weekend incentive and year incentive has been added (new regulations 5.5 and 5.6).
Since this is an employment condition and agreements have been made about this in the past between Marel and the trade unions, we must also submit this change to the members for a vote. You can read the text of the new temporary employment regulations here .
The members working at Marel have received a newsletter about this with a link to vote.
