English version

Petition result

More than 1500 employees have signed the petition. Considering the short time the petition was open, this is a great result. We are happy with this show of support. The signatures were placed by members of De Unie, and also by employees who are members of another union or who are not organized. They indicated in a large majority:

  • The salary increase in 2025 is too low and too late (87%)
  • The salary increase in 2026 is too low and too late (92%)
  • Pay for Growth is an undesirable employment condition (74%)

The group of employees who fall under the Variable Remuneration scheme reject these employment conditions in large numbers.

How did the negotiations go on Monday, December 9, 2024

The collective labor agreement negotiations were a repeat of previous negotiation days. The ING management has a limited budget. There is some adjustment within the budget, but there is very little to no room for improvement. A petition, no matter how well supported, is not enough to change that. This ultimately led to a collective labor agreement negotiation result, which was approved by De Unie will be submitted neutrally to the members.

How further?

De Unie presents the negotiation result neutrally to the members with Full or Extra membership. The vote will be open from Wednesday 11 December to Monday 6 January 2025. It has been agreed not to make the content of the negotiation result known before Wednesday 11 December at 12.00:11. The members will receive information about the negotiation result on XNUMX December.

Retirement

The vote on the pension transition plan has now been completed. A majority of the members have agreed to the new pension scheme for the ING CDC pension fund and to the transition to a Wtp scheme of the ING Pension Fund.

This also applies to the other parties involved. The next step in this process is that both pension funds will go through their formal decision-making procedure.

We keep our members informed of important developments.
