At noon today (March 12.00, 13) the ultimatum from trade unions to ING has expired. There was no new offer from ING.
Actions continue
Trade unions are therefore continuing the actions. On Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 10.00 a.m trade associations offer two workshops, one in Dutch and one in English. Taking action is the most important thing right now. So take part in the Team Event.
Stakes for beginners
Given the great enthusiasm to participate in the Strike for Beginners workshop, we had to convert this into a Team event. A new link has been created for this. Members have been invited to participate.
Legal framework
ING asks employees to coordinate participation in the workshop with their manager. This is not right. The workshop is a trade union action. You do not need permission from your manager for this. Employees should also not be asked to put themselves on NKT.
We would like to inform managers that they are obliged under Dutch law not to place any obstacles in the way of their employees to participate in this promotion.
