On this first day of the consultation, all parties explained their own proposal letters. CAO parties extensively asked each other questions to really understand the proposals of the other. We also took the time to make process agreements with each other and good communication agreements.
Point of view De Unie
De Unie has emphasized that the purchasing power development of ING employees lags considerably behind that of other employees in the Netherlands. De Unie aims to eliminate this backlog. This requires a catch-up indexation that is structurally processed in the salaries.

Proposals employer
Proposals have been submitted on behalf of the ING board. You can submit these proposals here read. We are curious about your opinion, what do you think of the proposals that your employer has made? You can give your opinion by sending an e-mail with your vision to: ing.de.vries@unie.nl. Please do this no later than Tuesday 1 October. We will take your opinion into account in the further consultation.
How further
The collective labor agreement negotiations will continue on Monday, October 7, 2024. We have agreed to further explore a number of specific topics on this day, including salary increases in scale, profit sharing scheme and the topic of training and development. You will receive a report of this consultation shortly after October 7, 2024.
