On 19 January, trade unions spoke with ING about the new collective labor agreement. This was an extreme attempt to negotiate a new collective labor agreement.
Prior to this consultation was through De Unie indicated the background against which we held the conversation. What the backing of De Unie expected from ING.
No result
We did not come to an agreement with ING. Although both sides tried to come up with creative solutions, unfortunately it did not work out. ING is unable or unwilling to offer what ING employees ask for. Unfortunately, we have had to conclude that there is no point in continuing the formal consultation at another time.
How further
Trade unions will jointly prepare actions. We expect that employees will be able to convince ING by participating en masse in these campaigns. ING is apparently still not convinced that the employees (you and your colleagues) mean business. Trade unions cannot do this alone. You are really needed now.
