Announcement of members meeting
Your pension is an important topic, but it is not easy to read. De Unie therefore wants to give members the opportunity to ask questions. Among other things at the online members meeting that we organize especially for pensions.

What is in the transition plan?
The transition plan has been agreed between De Unie and the other trade unions and ING. We have consulted with both pension funds. And the association for pensioners has had the opportunity to exercise the right to be heard.
The main decisions are the following:
- Pension accrual will soon be continued in a flexible premium scheme at ICP.
- The accrued pensions will be transferred to a new scheme at ICP.
- The accrued partner's pension will also be included in the new scheme.
- Participants who suffer a disadvantage as a result of the abolition of the average system will be compensated for this in their pension.
- Rules have been agreed for the distribution of the pension fund buffer.
- We aim for the transition of the scheme by 1 January 2027, but a date of 1 July 2027 is also acceptable.
- Agreements have been made on how the pension fund and social partners will act if the pension fund's coverage ratio falls sharply before the transition date, or if interest rates rise or fall sharply.
- The pensions accrued at PFI will be transferred to a new solidarity premium scheme implemented by PFI.
- This also applies to the partner pension built up at PFI.
- PFI remains a closed pension fund.

Please note: not everyone has built up a pension with PFI. This is only the case if you were employed by ING before 1 January 2014.
