IHC: social plan 2022-2023

We have spoken with your employer several times in recent months. We talked about a voluntary severance package. Negotiations have now been reached on this. The voluntary severance package will become part of the social plan. We have also extended the current social plan by one year, up to and including 31 October 2023.

The negotiation result

The voluntary severance package is included in the new chapter 2 of the social plan. You cannot simply make use of the voluntary departure scheme. It is important that IHC first submits a request for advice to the Works Council (OR). After the Works Council has given its advice, it is clear for which positions redundancy may arise. We have agreed that before employees are notified of redundancy, they can make use of the voluntary severance package. When enough people make use of the scheme, redundancy is no longer an issue. If not enough people make use of the voluntary severance package, redundancy is an issue.

An important element in the voluntary severance package is the first in, first out principle. This means that the employee who was the first to be employed is the first to be eligible for the voluntary departure scheme (please note, this is only the case if, after advice from the works council, it appears that your position is being made redundant). The registration procedure is described in chapter 2.

The compensation for the voluntary severance package is set at 80% of the termination compensation, with a maximum of € 100.000. You are also entitled to legal support with a maximum of €750.

Vote on the negotiation result!

We believe that we have reached a negotiated result that does justice to the situation at IHC. Of course, our members have the final vote on this. You can therefore cast your vote on it. Which can until Sunday 29 May 2022† Members have been invited to vote.

My colleague Dirk van Gestel has represented your interests as a Union member at IHC in recent years. Dirk has been given other work at De Unie† That's why he transferred IHC to me.

My name is Hans Korver. I am 53 years old, I live in Wormer and have been working for 5 years now De Unie† Before that, I worked almost my entire working life at UWV and its predecessors. At the moment my package consists of companies from the Metalektro and Metal and Technology in the region of North Holland and South Holland, Albert Heijn store management and offices, Tata Staal, Neptune Energy, Shell senior personnel and Private Security. I will do my best in the coming period to properly represent your interests at IHC.
