April 13, 2023

As members have previously asked us, on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, we discussed employers' final offer for the ICK collective labor agreement with employers. In this message we will inform you about this and ask the members for their opinion on the final offer.

Consultation

Trade unions have argued that at least € 80 per month should be added to keep up with inflation. This would then amount to approximately an 8% wage increase. Employers then indicated that they cannot afford this and that they do not have a mandate for it. According to employers, the choice is between accepting the final offer or allowing the collective labor agreement to continue without a pay rise. The Collective Labor Agreement has not been terminated by the Collective Labor Agreement parties and, in a legal sense, continues for one year without amendment.

The text of the final offer has been slightly changed at our request. In the section “sustainable employability”, a little more text is devoted to the intention of employers. You can view the text of the complete final offer here .

Stemming

De Unie puts the final offer to the vote of the members. They can vote through Thursday, April 27, 2023.
