As you know, the increase in structural wages in the collective labor agreement HP has been linked to the increase in the minimum wage for a number of years. As of January 1, 2022, that increase was 1,41% and as of July 1, 2022, the increase will be 1,8%. The increase as of 1 January 2023 is (of course) not yet known.

(PS: The main rule of the indexation of the minimum wage is: link the minimum wage to the average collective labor agreement wage development in the Netherlands).

One of the agreements we have made is to replace the fixed HP bonus of 2,5% with an increase of the current Christmas bonus from 2% to 4%.

The 0,5% that 'remains' is compensated, among other things, because the Christmas bonus is part of the definition of annual income and is therefore also pensionable. In our view, the agreement on the new bonus scheme is also a significant improvement (quantitatively and qualitatively) compared to the current variable remuneration scheme.

Bonus scheme

As mentioned, we have agreed a new bonus scheme that will replace the current variable remuneration scheme. This new bonus scheme is for employees (senior management, CAO-HP employees and as of 2023 for the HEMA CLA) the same.

The new bonus scheme has a lower lower limit (pays out earlier), runs linearly and therefore has no hurdles/limits as they have to be taken in the current scheme.

To clarify the text of the negotiation result, the table below shows the outcome of this bonus scheme if the targets are achieved, are not (fully) achieved and are more than achieved.

If the targets are 100% met: maximum payout is 11,2% If the targets are 90% met: maximum payout is 6,3% If the goals are achieved for more than 104%: maximum benefit is 14%
Ebitda 7,84% 4,41% 9,8%
Consumer turnover 1,12% 0,63% 1,4%
Online turnover 1,12% 0,63% 1,4%
Traffic 1,12% 0,63% 1,4%

Intermediate percentages are also possible. For example: when reaching 95% of the Ebitda target, the bonus (the part related to the Ebitda target) is 6,125%.

Please refer to the text of the negotiation result for the agreements on travel costs/net kilometer allowance and the mobile telephone and parking costs scheme for FM radiographers.

As a negotiation delegation, we are positive about this negotiation result and we would like to present this result to you with a positive vote.
