Some time ago already De Unie achieved a result for a new collective labor agreement for the golf sector. In recent weeks, employees in the sector have been informed about this via their employers. After being able to provide input at the start of the collective labor agreement, they have now had the opportunity to express their views on this result via a new survey (again organized by an independent research agency). The result is now known.
Nearly 450 employees have expressed their opinion. 73% of them voted FOR the collective labor agreement result. And that is a clear result!
Ordered before De Unie Sufficient support among all employees for the new collective labor agreement has always been an absolute requirement in order to be able to sign a new collective labor agreement. This condition is met with this representative result.
And while the result of the vote is clearly positive, we are not deaf to the arguments of those who voted against the result. We will also include their reactions and opinions in all studies and elaborations (such as vitality, choice budget, remuneration and pension) that we will carry out in the coming CLA period.
We would like to thank all the Golf Industry employees who responded for their responses. Partly as a result of their involvement, a new collective labor agreement is finally coming up – after a period that is too long in our view – which is too long in our view.
As soon as all this has been formally arranged, the first wage increase (4% as of 1-1-2022) will be implemented as soon as possible (also with retroactive effect) in accordance with the agreement.
