Golf Industry: Update

After previous research, which examined the market conformity and applicability of the job classification system and salary structure, we concluded that both parts of the collective bargaining agreement require updating. This is a significant undertaking. We expect to complete this during the next collective bargaining agreement period and then adjust the collective bargaining agreement accordingly. In the meantime, we want employee compensation to develop more or less in line with the market.

The NVG employers have made a wage offer for a two-year collective labor agreement of 3% as of January 1, 2026, and 2% as of January 1, 2027, supplemented by a one-off payment of €500 gross (for a full-time employee).

In response, we stated that we believe this proposal is insufficient. To keep pace with wage growth in the Netherlands in the run-up to the wage structure overhaul, we believe it is necessary to increase wages by 1% as of January 2026, 4,5, and by 1% as of January 2027, 4. We are basing this on figures and projections from the AWVN (General Employers Association of the Netherlands).

Retirement

We've discussed the pension situation again. The collective labor agreement outlines two possible pension options. In addition to the necessary adjustments under the new pension law, we will also reexamine the differences between the two schemes. Our proposal is to establish a working group within the social fund for this purpose.

How further?

On October 1, 2025, the NVG employers will discuss the current status of the collective bargaining agreement negotiations. Discussions will resume on October 3.
