Below are the core proposals of De Unie for the 2026 collective labor agreement for Garden Seed Companies:
- 5,6% salary for purchasing power maintenance and improvement.
- New pay scale system: min. +2% for satisfactory performance.
- Better arrangements: overtime (H-scales), travel expenses (max. fiscal).
- Sustainable employability: career check, leadership programs, 80/90/100 expansion.
- Appreciation & retention: extra day off for 5, 10, 15 and 20 years of service.
Next, it was the employers' turn. A lot of text was written about the situation within the companies, and then we were asked to take into account the international, capital-intensive, and exchange rate-sensitive position of the garden seed sector. You can read the employers' proposals here. here .
Reading the various proposals, you'll see there's still a long way to go. We still have three appointments scheduled for this: October 22nd, November 27th, and December 3rd.
On October 22nd, we will seek depth and conversation to come closer together.
