At that time, the advocate assumed the employer would even communicate about his offer for Tuesday, November 11, 2025. He decided against it, possibly because the situation could still go either way. However, after round II, the outline was as follows:
- We seem to agree on the duration of the collective labor agreement: 12 months (one year).
- dsm-firmenich declared itself prepared to structurally increase wages and salaries by 2,5% with effect from the start of the contract (1 January 2026).
- dsm-firmenich made a proposal about the STI.
- dsm-firmench proposes to convert the three days of leave in the context of Sustainable Employability for people aged 45 and over into: an annual holiday on May 5 (Liberation Day as a paid day off) for everyone, a Diversity Day that can be used at one's own discretion (for example on the occasion of the 11de out of 11de) and the third day will be added to MyChoice and can therefore be enjoyed as a free day again.
We have pointed out that the average wage increase in the Netherlands is higher and it is not clear to us why dsm-firmenich should remain below that average.
DSM-Firmenich has indicated they need us, but we're not seeing any of that when it comes to our proposals. These are precisely the focus of our proposals (membership and employer contributions).
All parties want a smoother and faster process than in 2024. To keep things moving, it would be good if the current offer were improved.
